Günter Gerlach is an internationally recognised architect and educator who is since 2005 a Director of gestalten.

He was a Director of the interdiscipliary firm Inova Architects & Engineers of Basel Switzerland from 1996 to 2004.

Mr. Gerlach has studied widely in three different socio-cultural settings. He holds a PhD [Architecture and Design], a Master of Architecture from the ETH Zürich Switzerland and a Bachelor of Architecture (with First Class Honours) from the RMIT University Melbourne Australia.

He was leading architectural design studios at the University of Melbourne and is now part-time tutor at RMIT University working concurrently at gestalten on both residential and commercial projects.
